Wilmington, Delaware, United States, September 2025 – The Chemours Company, a global leader in industrial and specialty chemicals, has appointed Erik Matz as its new Vice President, Talent Acquisition. In this role, Erik will be responsible for building and executing Chemours’ global talent acquisition strategies, aligning workforce planning with business growth, and fostering an inclusive culture that attracts and retains top talent worldwide.
Before joining Chemours, Erik briefly served as Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition at Spin Master, where he played a strategic role in reshaping the company’s talent pipeline to support its global growth initiatives. Prior to that, he led Talent and HR Business Partnering at Melissa & Doug, a role he held for nearly six years, where he supported both operational and cultural integration during the company’s acquisition by Spin Master.
Earlier, Erik was Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion at Henkel, followed by four impactful years as Head of Talent Acquisition at Nestlé Waters North America. In these roles, he drove process improvements, introduced data-driven recruiting strategies, and built inclusive talent practices.
His longest tenure was with ADP, where he spent over seven years, including serving as Sr. Director, Global Talent Acquisition. At ADP, he developed centralized executive search and technical staffing capabilities, significantly improving quality of hire, reducing third-party costs, and enhancing diversity in leadership pipelines.
Erik began his career with TEKsystems, where he spent over 11 years in progressive leadership roles, from Technical Recruiter to Director of Business Operations and Senior Account Executive. His early success in sales, recruiting, and client management laid the foundation for his extensive expertise in talent acquisition and workforce strategy.
