Switzerland, September 2024 – Esther Roman has been appointed as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Board Member at Helvetia Insurance Group. With this role, Esther will oversee the development and execution of global HR strategies, focusing on driving cultural transformation, talent management, and organizational development within Helvetia’s expansive international operations. Esther’s leadership comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to grow its presence across Europe and specialty markets.
Prior to joining Helvetia Insurance Group, Esther served as Group Head of Human Resources & Communication and a member of the Executive Committee at Mibelle Group for 2 years and 5 months. During her tenure, she played a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business strategies and spearheaded communication strategies that enhanced organizational cohesion and brand strength.
Before Mibelle, Esther held the role of Head of Leadership & Talent at Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, where she focused on developing leadership programs and managing talent across the organization, contributing to the company’s growth and culture for 1 year and 9 months.
Earlier in her career, Esther worked at PageGroup for over 9 years, where she held multiple leadership roles, including Global Talent Director and Regional HR Director for Europe. At PageGroup, she developed global talent strategies, led change management initiatives, and drove leadership development programs, particularly in London, Zurich, and Frankfurt.
Her early career experience includes significant leadership positions at Michael Page and Page Personnel, where she managed operations in Germany, Switzerland, and Spain.
