Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 2024 – Faris AlZahrani has been named the Vice President of Human Resources at GO Telecom – قو للاتصالات, a leading telecommunications operator in the Middle East. In this role, Faris will oversee the development and execution of HR strategies aimed at driving organizational performance, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the company’s growth trajectory in the competitive telecom sector.
Prior to joining GO Telecom, Faris served as the Vice President of People and Culture at a confidential organization for four years, where he led HR transformation initiatives, managed shared services, and spearheaded cultural evolution to enhance overall employee experience and operational efficiency.

Before that, Faris had a notable tenure at Zain KSA, where he held multiple roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer, Talent Management Executive GM, and HR Services GM. During his time at Zain KSA, he managed comprehensive HR activities across five regions in Saudi Arabia, covering areas like employee relations, payroll, government relations, and travel management.
Faris also spent over 12 years at Saudi Telecom Company (stc), holding various leadership roles, including Director of Business Development, Corporate Policies Manager, Organization Design Manager, MP Forecasting & Planning Manager, and Job Evaluation Manager. His extensive experience at stc helped shape his expertise in HR management, business development, and organizational design.
