Indonesia – October 2024 – Ferhat Wideru has been appointed as the Chief People Officer (CHRO) at PT Bank Maspion Indonesia, Tbk, a member of the KasikornBank (KBank) Group. Ferhat will lead the bank’s human resources strategy, focusing on employee engagement, talent development, and fostering a strong organizational culture aligned with the bank’s mission.
Prior to joining PT Bank Maspion Indonesia, Ferhat was the Business HR Head – SVP at Bank Danamon Indonesia for approximately 10 years. In this role, he provided HR support to various business segments, including retail banking, card business, personal loans, and Syariah banking, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
Before that, he served as the SVP – Head of HR Retail Banking at Bank Danamon for about 8 years, managing human capital across a workforce of 7,000 employees. His leadership encompassed talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and retention strategies.
Ferhat also held the position of AVP – Compensation & Benefit at Citibank for around 2 years, where he was responsible for designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs aligned with organizational objectives. Prior to Citibank, he worked as an Industrial Relations Manager at PT BASF Indonesia, focusing on maintaining harmonious labor relations.
His earlier career includes roles as an HR Consultant at TASS Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Compensation & Benefit Manager at DHL Worldwide Express, and an HR Supervisor at PT Astra Microtronics Technology, contributing significantly to HR management and consulting.
