Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Mythik, a tech-first global entertainment company with a vision to create the ‘Disney from the East’, has formed its Global Advisory Board. This distinguished board comprises of six industry leaders whose experience has shaped some of the most iconic media, entertainment and technology companies.
Global Advisory Board Members include:
- Alok Sama, the former President of SoftBank Group – veteran investor who led the historic $34 billion acquisition of ARM Holdings and $59 billion merger of Spring and T-Mobile;
- Kun Gao, Co-Founder & former CEO of Crunchyroll – serial entrepreneur who created and led the pioneering manga & anime-focused OTT platform that was sold to Sony Entertainment for $1.2 billion;
- Nick Van Dyk, former SVP of Corporate Strategy at The Walt Disney Company – veteran media executive who played a lead role at Disney in their global strategic overhaul and in the historic acquisitions of Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion, Pixar for $7 billion, and Lucasfilm (Star Wars) for $4 billion;
- Bill Jemas, former COO of Marvel Entertainment – played a lead role in the historic Marvel Entertainment turnaround that resulted in the sale to Disney for $4 billion;
- John Lynch, former Global Head of Production & Operations at Amazon Studios – built at inception and led global production & operations for Amazon Studios with a film & television budget of over $20 billion;
- Gui Karyo, former Chief Information Officer at Marvel Entertainment and Dapper Labs – played a key role in the historic Marvel turnaround and the creation of Dapper Labs, one of the largest Web3 companies globally.
This Global Advisory Board underscores Mythik’s commitment to strategic planning and a global vision. The expertise of the Board members includes media and entertainment finance, strategy, technology, as well as franchise IP development, production, licensing, marketing, and distribution. They will provide ongoing guidance and support to the Mythik management team.
