Columbus, Ohio, United States, September 2024 – Frank Poncheri has taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Vertiv, a global leader in designing and delivering critical infrastructure solutions. In this position, Frank will lead the company’s HR strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and integration to support Vertiv’s rapid growth and transformation across its 130-country footprint.
Prior to joining Vertiv, Frank served as Vice President of Human Resources and Integration at Owens Corning for 2 years, overseeing major HR strategies related to organizational integration, talent management, and leadership development across various business units. His tenure at Owens Corning also included a role as Human Resources Director for Insulation Europe, where he was based in Helsinki, Finland, managing HR operations and strategic initiatives for the European market.
Before that, Frank held the position of Director of Human Resources for Science & Technology at Owens Corning, where he played a crucial role in aligning HR initiatives with the company’s innovation and technology goals for nearly 3 years in Columbus, Ohio.
Earlier in his career, Frank was part of GE Aerospace, where he worked as Senior Specialist in Employee Relations and completed GE’s Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP). He gained valuable HR experience during this time and established a strong foundation in employee relations and leadership.
Frank also has earlier career experience as a Human Resources Specialist for the Columbus Blue Jackets, an NHL franchise, and as an HR Intern with Covidien (now part of Medtronic), where he further developed his skills in talent management and HR operations.
