With a mission to streamline and empower the rental journey for renters, agents, and landlords, Gary steps into this role with a wealth of executive experience across the real estate and technology sectors.
Gary simultaneously serves as Chief Executive Officer at The Lettings Hub, and his deep expertise spans over two decades. Prior to joining Canopy, he was COO and CTO at tmgroup (UK) Ltd, where he led operational and technological transformation initiatives for seven months. His strategic direction has often focused on simplifying complex property processes and delivering value at scale.
He previously held non-executive leadership roles at both COHO and nurtur.group, while also serving as Chief Investment Officer at nurtur.group, where he guided innovation and proptech investment strategies between 2021 and 2024. During this period, he also worked as CEO – Proptech at BetterHome Group Ltd in South Africa, extending his international leadership footprint.
Gary’s earlier executive journey includes a pivotal stint at Reapit UK, where he served for over 15 years—first as Director, and later as Chief Executive Officer from 2013 to 2021—playing a major role in growing one of the UK’s most recognized proptech brands. Before Reapit, he was Group CTO at Connells Group, and Head of IT Development at Countrywide Estate Agents, where he built his foundation in real estate technology.
