Singapore, January 2025 – Gaurav Sharma has been appointed as Head HR – Singapore & South East Asia at BD, a leading global medical technology company. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing HR strategies and initiatives across the region, supporting the company’s mission of advancing health through medical discovery, diagnostics, and care delivery.
Gaurav Sharma joins BD after serving as Global Human Resources Director – BIG at The Coca-Cola Company for approximately four years, where he contributed significantly to global HR strategies and operations.
Before this, he was the Chief People Officer at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, where he led HR operations and people strategies in India for nearly two years, playing a critical role in talent management and employee engagement.

Earlier, Gaurav spent a decade at Coca-Cola Beverages Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei, holding various leadership positions, including Human Resources Director, Organizational Development Lead, and Human Capital Operations Manager. His tenure was marked by significant contributions to leadership development and HR transformation.
His previous roles also include Vice President – HR at Vega Foods Corp, Business HR Head – ICI at AkzoNobel, and multiple HR leadership positions at PepsiCo, where he began his career as a Management Trainee and advanced to General Manager – Organizational Capability over a span of six years.
