Hyderabad, India, September 2025 — Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has announced the appointment of Gayatri Prabhu as Head of Digital Marketing (Emerging Markets). In her new role, Gayatri will be responsible for driving innovative digital strategies to expand the organization’s footprint across emerging markets, reinforcing its commitment to digital transformation and customer-centric engagement.
Gayatri brings with her more than two decades of expertise in digital transformation, omnichannel strategy, and marketing. Prior to this, she served as Head of Omnichannel & Digital Transformation at Sanofi, where she spearheaded impactful initiatives that strengthened customer engagement and advanced digital adoption across the business.
Earlier, she led the digital business at Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited, building scalable platforms to drive digital-first growth in financial services. Her career also includes nearly nine years with SBI General Insurance, where she held leadership roles including Channel Head – Digital and AVP – Internet Portal Specialist, successfully implementing strategies that deepened customer reach and improved operational efficiency.
Previously, Gayatri worked at HDFC ERGO General Insurance as AVP – Marketing & eBusiness, where she focused on expanding digital and e-commerce channels, and at ICICI Bank as Manager – Marketing, where she contributed to the bank’s early digital and retail initiatives.
With her strong foundation across financial services, insurance, and healthcare, Gayatri’s appointment reflects Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’ focus on advancing digital capabilities to deliver sustainable growth and strengthen patient and customer engagement across diverse geographies.
