Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2024 – GC Gautam has been appointed as the Vice President & Head of Manufacturing HR at CEAT Limited, where he will also serve as Group Advisor ER-RPG for India & Sri Lanka and Group COE ER-RPG. In this role, Gautam will oversee the human resources function for manufacturing operations and provide strategic guidance on employee relations across RPG Group’s businesses in India and Sri Lanka.
Prior to joining CEAT Limited, Gautam served as the VP & Head HR – Manufacturing, Marketing & Sales at JCB for over two years, where he was instrumental in driving HR strategies for the company’s manufacturing units and sales operations.
Before his tenure at JCB, Gautam was the Vice President of Human Resources at the Aditya Birla Group, where he managed HR initiatives for one of India’s largest conglomerates, focusing on talent management and organizational development.
Gautam’s extensive experience also includes his role as Senior Director & Head of Manufacturing HR at Jubilant Life Sciences Limited, where he was responsible for leading HR functions across multiple manufacturing facilities, supporting the company’s rapid growth and expansion.
Earlier in his career, Gautam held significant roles at organizations such as Reliance Industries Limited, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Kotsons Ltd., and LORDS DISTILLERY LIMITED, where he developed a robust foundation in human resources and industrial relations.
