Chicago, Illinois, United States, April 2025 – Geoff Watts has been elevated to the role of Chief People & Culture Officer at Wilson Sporting Goods Co., where he will lead the company’s global people strategy, culture evolution, and talent agenda across all business units and geographies.
Geoff’s promotion follows a successful tenure of five years as Global Vice President, People & Culture at Wilson, during which he played a pivotal role in transforming the company’s HR strategy and enabling a high-performance culture. His leadership was instrumental in aligning people initiatives with Wilson’s innovation-driven and athlete-centric brand purpose.
Prior to joining Wilson, Geoff served as Director of HR for the Asia Pacific Region at Amer Sports Corporation, where he led people operations across a diverse and complex multi-market landscape from Shanghai. He was deeply involved in talent development and organizational effectiveness at a regional scale.
Before his move to Asia, Geoff spent nearly five years with Arc’teryx Equipment, starting as Manager and later advancing to Senior Manager, People & Culture, in Vancouver. His impact included embedding people strategies in a design- and innovation-focused outdoor apparel environment.
Earlier in his career, Geoff held HR roles at lululemon athletica, Ingram Micro, and Holey Soles Holdings, and began his professional journey as a Human Resources Coordinator at Johnson & Johnson. His multifaceted experience across global markets and industry-leading brands has shaped him into a transformative people leader.
