Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, April 2025 – Gilles-Raymond Kadjo has taken over as Chief Financial Officer at Yango, a fast-growing international ride-hailing and tech-enabled mobility service provider. Based in Abidjan, Gilles will be leading the company’s financial strategy, corporate planning, and performance optimization efforts across the African continent, contributing to Yango’s global financial agility and long-term growth.
Before stepping into this role, Gilles served for over three years as Finance Manager at GCB Cocoa, one of the region’s prominent players in the cocoa processing industry. There, he oversaw core financial operations and controls, driving cost efficiency and improving reporting accuracy in a highly regulated, commodity-based environment.
Previously, Gilles spent nearly six years at Deloitte Côte d’Ivoire, rising to the position of Assistant Manager – Audit. At Deloitte, he was instrumental in managing key audit engagements across multiple industries, helping clients adhere to international accounting standards while improving internal financial governance.
Gilles began his professional journey as a Field Sales Representative Intern at G4S, where he developed foundational skills in business development and frontline customer engagement.
He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from ESCA (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan) as well as from the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny de Yamoussoukro (INP-HB), making him a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic insight suited for fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
