Calgary, Alberta, Canada, July 2025 – Gillian Calderon Dominguez has been promoted to Vice President, People at Boardwalk, marking a significant milestone in her nearly 21-year journey with the organization. In her new role, she will lead the company’s people strategy, including talent development, HR operations, and organizational effectiveness, while continuing to champion Boardwalk’s mission of fostering vibrant and community-focused rental environments.
Over the past four years, Gillian served as Senior Director, Human Resources, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing HR operations, advancing leadership development programs, and driving talent and succession strategies aligned with Boardwalk’s culture of innovation and compassion.
Before that, she held the position of Director, Human Resources for approximately a decade, where she successfully built strong HR foundations, supported enterprise-wide change initiatives, and helped scale people operations across the organization. Earlier, she held roles including Human Resources Analyst, Payroll Clerk, and Customer Service Representative, gaining holistic experience across HR systems, employee engagement, and operations.
