Chicago, Illinois, United States, May 2026 — Gina Chung has been promoted to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Locus Robotics, marking a significant elevation in her leadership journey within the warehouse automation and robotics leader. In her new role, Gina reports directly to the CEO and will shape global strategy, product direction, go-to-market initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships while leading cross-functional programs to accelerate revenue growth and global platform expansion.
Since joining Locus Robotics in 2023 as Vice President, Corporate Development, Gina has played a pivotal role in driving corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, and business development. Her contributions have been instrumental in strengthening Locus Robotics’ strategic positioning within the global warehouse automation ecosystem, leading to this executive promotion.
Prior to Locus Robotics, Gina built an extensive innovation and strategy career at DHL, where she spent a decade leading global innovation, R&D, technology partnerships, and next-generation automation deployment across supply chain operations. As Vice President Innovation Americas and Head of DHL Americas Innovation Center, she established and scaled DHL’s innovation presence in the Americas while consulting top enterprise customers on transformative supply chain solutions.
Her DHL journey also included leadership roles in global trend research, innovation project management, city logistics, and last-mile innovation across Germany, Singapore, and the United States, giving her exceptional international expertise in logistics transformation and technology innovation. In addition, Gina serves as a Startup Mentor at Berkeley SkyDeck and participated in the prestigious Goldman Sachs Executive Acceleration Program, further reinforcing her executive leadership credentials.
