Bangalore, Karnataka, India, May 2025 – Harneeta R Sandhu has taken on a pivotal new role as AVP, Head – Talent Acquisition, Performance, Rewards, Org Design, and Head HRBP (Corporate HR) at Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited. In her expanded mandate, Harneeta will lead end-to-end talent acquisition, performance and rewards strategy, organizational design, and corporate HR business partnering, contributing to the brand’s ambitious growth and transformation journey.
Prior to this elevation, Harneeta served at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. for over two years. She led HR for Retail, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, and earlier, spearheaded Talent Management and Capability Building, playing an instrumental role in strengthening leadership pipelines and fostering a high-performance culture across the business.
Earlier, Harneeta spent over seven years with Pantaloons, where she held progressive HR leadership roles including Head – Retail HR, Lead HRBP – Operations, and Retail Training Head. Her contributions included building robust employee engagement practices, leading large-scale HR operations, and driving customer-centric training initiatives across retail formats.
Before that, she was with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance in multiple roles such as Senior Manager – Sales Training and Training Content Developer, where she led learning initiatives aligned to sales effectiveness. She began her early career in HR training and customer service roles at Tata Business Support Services, Excel Callnet, and GE Capital, which built the foundation for her dynamic leadership in human resources.
