Morrow, GA, United States, August 2024 – Harvey Parker has been named the new Head of Human Resources at TOTO USA, bringing extensive experience and a strategic approach to this key role.
Prior to joining TOTO USA, Harvey Parker was the Vice President of Human Resources at PURIS, where he played a pivotal role from 2020 to 2023. During his tenure, he led HR initiatives across multiple U.S. sites and Canada, supporting a workforce of 1,000 employees. His strategic partnerships with organizational leaders were instrumental in supporting key business initiatives and driving significant HR strategies that enhanced talent acquisition, employee retention, and engagement across seventeen business units.
Before his role at PURIS, Harvey held a leadership position at OFS Fitel, LLC, a Furukawa Company, from 2006 to 2019. As a Senior Manager of Human Resources, he provided strategic leadership for a global manufacturer of fiber optic cables, directly contributing to sustainable business strategies and objectives for multiple business units. His efforts led to a notable increase in employee retention and a decrease in workers’ compensation claims through innovative safety and training programs.
Earlier in his career, Harvey was involved in significant HR roles at Owens Corning and M.A. Industries, Inc., where he developed and implemented effective human resources strategies that supported business operations and enhanced workforce productivity. His tenure at these companies was marked by successful management of HR activities including payroll, contract negotiation, and employee engagement.
