Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, August 2024 – Amit Sharda has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources at Indo National Ltd, marking a significant step in his distinguished HR career.
Prior to joining Indo National Ltd, Amit Sharda served as the Lead – HRBP at Cavinkare, where he was instrumental in leading HR for the Personal Care and International business divisions across multiple regions including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. His tenure at Cavinkare was marked by his role as a center of excellence for HR automation, campus hiring from premier institutes, performance appraisal management, and policy and process formulation.
Before Cavinkare, Amit was associated with Dvara Holdings (formerly IFMR Trust), where he managed recruitment and HR activities for the development sector, focusing on microfinance, capital markets, and investments. His responsibilities included overseeing joining formalities, induction programs, campus recruitment, and employee relations.
In the earlier stages of his career, Amit worked as a Recruiter at Ma Foi Randstad, where he specialized in the IT and ITES sectors. His role involved managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial screenings to coordinating interviews and selection procedures.
