Washington, District of Columbia, United States, March 2026 – Clifford Chance has appointed Heather Feaster as Head of Human Resources, Global Financial Markets & Corporate, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening global people strategy and leadership across key business units.
In her new role, Heather will act as a strategic HR advisor to global leadership, driving workforce planning, talent strategy, and performance frameworks while leading a global HR business partner team to support the firm’s Financial Markets & Corporate division.
Heather Feaster brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across global law firms, consulting organizations, and international institutions. Most recently, she served as HR Business Partner at Freshfields, where she contributed to succession planning, performance management, and talent strategy across key practice areas.
Prior to this, she spent over five years at Smithbucklin as Director, HR Business Partner, partnering with senior leadership to drive talent development, executive hiring, performance calibration, and employee engagement strategies while supporting large, complex teams.
She also held leadership roles at Conservation International, including Director and Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, where she led HR strategy across multiple global divisions, implemented performance management systems, and advised senior executives on workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
Earlier in her career, she gained extensive experience with organizations such as Gold’s Gym International, Ernst & Young, Smithbucklin, NCRIC, and Standard Chartered Bank, building strong expertise in recruitment, employee relations, talent management, and HR operations across diverse industries and geographies.
