London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Heather Gough has joined the NHS as the Deputy Chief People Officer for South West London Integrated Care Board (ICB). In her new role, Heather will focus on advancing workforce strategies, employee engagement, and organizational development to support the NHS’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare services.
Heather brings a wealth of experience in workforce strategy, people management, and organizational design. Prior to joining the NHS, Heather pursued a career break to develop her artistic portfolio, where she achieved recognition as a finalist for the 2024 Women in Art Emerging Artist Award.
Previously, Heather spent four years at Lloyds Banking Group, where she contributed to workforce strategy and organizational design as part of the Consumer Relationships, Chief Operating Office team. During her tenure, she played a key role in business transformation initiatives, aligning people strategies with operational goals.
Before her time at Lloyds, Heather worked for Deutsche Bank for over a decade, holding roles such as People & Engagement Manager and EA and Talent Manager within the Group Management Consulting division. Her contributions focused on enhancing employee engagement, talent development, and operational efficiency.
Earlier in her career, Heather served as a Legal Assistant, gaining valuable insights into governance and compliance frameworks that have informed her approach to HR leadership.
