Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Helen Faulkner has taken on the role of Head of People Services at Tesco Bank. In her new position, Helen will oversee critical HR operations, including payroll, employee relations, HR risk and controls, and data and MI management. Her leadership comes at a pivotal time as Tesco Bank continues its journey of transformation and innovation, ensuring its people strategy aligns with its customer-centric goals.
Helen brings over a decade of diverse HR and business leadership experience. Before joining Tesco Bank, Helen served as Head of Programme, Group People for Tesco, leading the HR aspects of the Tesco Bank divestiture. Prior to that, she held the role of Head of Capability, where she implemented learning strategies for Tesco’s UK stores, distribution, and fulfillment centers. Helen also worked as a Strategic HR Business Partner, supporting senior leadership, and as UK Talent Manager, where she drove talent development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Helen gained extensive experience at HSBC, where she served as Group Talent Manager, overseeing senior succession planning and global graduate attraction campaigns. At PwC, she contributed as a Senior Consultant in HR Management, leading transformation projects across industries, including global HR technology implementations and resourcing transformations. Her career began with a strong foundation in marketing at Savvy Marketing, where she honed her strategic and operational skills.
