Faridabad, Haryana, India, March 2026 — Hindustan Syringes & Medical Device Ltd. (HMD Healthcare) has appointed Hem Chandra Tewari as General Manager P&A, marking a key addition to its people and administration leadership as the organisation continues to strengthen its workforce foundations. In his new role, Tewari will be responsible for leading P&A priorities at the Faridabad location, with a focus on strengthening HR governance, compliance, and employee lifecycle practices aligned with business and plant needs.
Tewari joins HMD Healthcare with deep, hands-on experience across HR and administration in manufacturing-led environments, with a strong emphasis on legal compliance, multi-plant HR/IR management, policy implementation, employee engagement, and performance management systems.
Before taking up this position, he served as Head HR at Mohan Meakin Limited (February 2024 to March 2026), leading end-to-end HR responsibilities and overseeing core HR functions to support business continuity and workforce stability.
Prior to that, he was General Manager HR at Kent RO Systems Ltd. (April 2023 to February 2024), where he handled broad HR leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced operating context, supporting people processes across functions.
Earlier, Tewari spent a significant phase of his career with Goodluck India Limited (April 2017 to April 2023), where he progressed through roles including Assistant General Manager – HR & Administration, Deputy General Manager, and General Manager Human Resources, contributing to HR leadership across manufacturing and export-driven operations, strengthening HR systems, statutory practices, and engagement initiatives.
His earlier experience also includes leadership roles such as Senior Manager – Employee Relations at DEE Piping Systems (September 2015 to August 2017) and HR positions at Jamna Auto Industries Ltd., where he supported HR operations and employee relations in industrial settings. Tewari holds an MBA in HR from Sikkim Manipal University – Distance Education (2009–2011), where he achieved an A Grade.
