Singapore, September 2024 – Hui Hong Tan has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources, Southeast Asia at CooperVision, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of soft contact lenses. In her new role, Hui Hong will lead the human resources strategy across the SEA region, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations to support CooperVision’s continued growth and innovation.
Prior to joining CooperVision, Hui Hong spent over four years at Kuehne+Nagel as a Regional Human Resources Business Partner. From January 2021 to July 2024, she played a key role in performance management and employee engagement across the region, driving HR initiatives that enhanced organizational performance. Before this, she served as a Regional HR Operations Consultant at Kuehne+Nagel, focusing on talent management and HR operations for 10 months.
Before her tenure at Kuehne+Nagel, Hui Hong was with McDonald’s in Singapore, where she held the role of Human Resource Consultant (HRBP) for nearly three years. In this position, she was responsible for overseeing performance management, talent development, and employee engagement across various business units. Prior to that, she worked as an HR Executive for over two years, supporting HR operations and processes for the organization.
Earlier in her career, Hui Hong gained valuable HR experience at the Singapore Tourism Board, where she worked as an Assistant Manager of Human Resource Management & Engagement. She facilitated employee engagement initiatives and managed HR functions for the organization.
