Mumbai, India, July 2026 — Capri Global Capital Limited has appointed Ignatius Kaitha as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, he will partner closely with the Board and Executive Leadership to align talent, leadership, organizational culture, and workforce capability with the company’s long-term business ambitions and value creation agenda.
As CHRO, Ignatius will lead Capri’s enterprise-wide people strategy, overseeing leadership development, organizational transformation, talent management, culture, capability building, performance excellence, and workforce planning as the company continues to scale its diversified financial services business across India.
Prior to joining Capri Global Capital, Ignatius spent more than 16 years with IndusInd Bank, where he held several senior HR leadership roles across the bank’s retail and consumer banking businesses.
Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President & Head HR – Consumer Banking, leading the people agenda for a workforce of more than 30,000 employees across Branch Banking, Retail Assets, Cards & Payments, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Business Banking, and International Business. In this role, he drove strategic initiatives across talent integration, capability development, performance transformation, employee success, and leadership development.
Earlier, as Executive Vice President & HR Partner – Retail Assets, Consumer Channels & Affluent Banking, he partnered with business leaders across multiple business verticals to strengthen talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, change management, and high-performance culture initiatives.
Before that, Ignatius served as Senior Vice President & National Partner HR – Branch Banking, where he led the strategic HR agenda across more than 2,000 branches and over 12,000 employees, helping build scalable people practices for one of India’s largest banking networks.
He initially joined IndusInd Bank as Vice President & HR Partner – West & South, leading HR for consumer banking operations across two of the bank’s largest geographic regions and establishing himself as a trusted business partner to leadership.
Before IndusInd Bank, Ignatius served as Vice President – Human Resources at HSBC, where he played a pivotal role in one of the industry’s significant integration programs. As a core member of the M&A and due diligence team, he helped lead the successful acquisition and integration of IL&FS Investsmart, which was subsequently rebranded as HSBC InvestDirect. He also led business HR across multiple group companies while driving employee engagement, organizational integration, talent acquisition, and leadership capability.
Earlier, he was Associate Vice President – Human Capital at Stream Global Services, where he was part of the senior executive leadership team responsible for shaping global HR strategy across operations spanning 18 countries and a workforce exceeding 30,000 employees. During this period, he led HR transformation initiatives supporting rapid organizational expansion, global M&A integration, talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.
Ignatius holds an MBA from SP Jain School of Global Management.
