Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines, october 2025 – Imelda Mondonedo has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at Kayana Solutions Inc., where she will lead the company’s people strategy during a period of rapid growth. In her new role, she is responsible for scaling HR operations, driving talent acquisition, enhancing employee engagement, shaping organizational culture, and aligning HR practices with Kayana’s vision of building a technology-driven and people-first enterprise.
Mondonedo has been with Kayana Solutions Inc. for nearly two years, most recently serving as HR Executive, where she played a pivotal role in building the HR function from the ground up in a fast-paced start-up environment. She was responsible for end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and engagement programs.
Prior to joining Kayana, she built a strong career at Citi, where she spent more than 17 years in senior HR roles across the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, she was HR Business Partner, Vice President for the Eastern Cluster, covering 40 countries and providing strategic HR leadership in alignment with global priorities. She also served as Lead HR Generalist, Vice President for Asia Pacific, overseeing HR delivery for more than 7,000 employees across 17 countries. Earlier, she held leadership positions in compensation and benefits, mobility coordination, and HR generalist functions, and was recognized with multiple Citi Gratitude Awards for stakeholder management and project leadership.
Before her tenure at Citi, she worked at Air Freight 2100, Inc. as a Senior HR Specialist for Performance Management, Compensation and Rewards, at Danzas AEI Intercontinental Ab in Dubai as a Human Resources Coordinator, and at Aboitiz Transport Systems, Inc. as HR Benefits Supervisor, where she led benefits operations and vendor partnerships.
