Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, February 2026 – Al Rajhi Capital has appointed Imran Hameed as Chief Financial Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone within the Al Rajhi Banking Group.
Imran assumes the role following 15 impactful years with alrajhi bank, where he contributed to the bank’s market-leading performance and institutional strength. On his appointment, he expressed pride in taking on the responsibility and reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to advance strategic priorities, strengthen execution, and enhance performance across the Group and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Most recently at alrajhi bank, Imran served as Group Head M&A and Strategy, leading strategic initiatives and corporate development efforts. He previously held roles including AGM Strategy, AGM Strategy, Loyalty & Partnerships, Chief Operating Officer – Retail Banking Group, Director Strategy & Transformation, and earlier Deputy CFO and Head of Business Planning & Analytics. His tenure also included a period as Group Chief Financial Officer (Acting), reflecting the depth of trust placed in his financial leadership.
Beyond alrajhi bank, Imran has held CFO roles at Citi (Sri Lanka) and Millennium Information Technologies, and earlier finance leadership positions at NDB Bank and Ernst & Young. He also serves as Director at IDEAology Strategy Consulting and previously acted as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Housing in Saudi Arabia.
