Pawar has been associated with Intas Pharmaceuticals for nearly 15 years, steadily advancing through key leadership roles including General Manager and Senior General Manager before taking charge as Associate Vice President in January 2026. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to manufacturing operations, engineering projects, process optimization, and strategic scale-up initiatives within the biopharmaceutical domain.
Earlier in his professional journey, he worked with Mabpharm Private Limited, Cipla Ltd., and Gennova Biopharmaceuticals, where he built deep expertise in therapeutic protein purification, production scale-up, and biopharmaceutical process development. His experience across leading pharmaceutical organizations has shaped a strong foundation in manufacturing strategy, operational leadership, and high-impact execution.
Pawar holds an Executive MBA in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and a Master of Technology in Pharmaceutical Operations and Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, further strengthening his strategic and operational capabilities.
