San Mateo, California, United States, March 2026 – Jack Buckley has started a new position as Chief People and Systems Officer at Roblox, advancing into a pivotal enterprise leadership role within the company.
Jack has been with Roblox for over five years, most recently serving as Vice President of People (HR) and Vice President, People Science. Prior to that, he led as Head of People Science and Analytics, where he played a key role in shaping data-driven people strategies, workforce analytics, and organizational effectiveness across the global platform. His elevation reflects Roblox’s continued focus on integrating people strategy with systems, analytics, and technology to support its ambitious growth agenda.
Alongside his corporate leadership, Jack has maintained a distinguished presence in research and public service. He has served as an Institute Fellow at American Institutes for Research for over seven years and previously held the role of Senior Vice President, Research and Evaluation at the same organization. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President, Research at The College Board, and served as Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner at the National Center for Education Statistics.
Jack’s experience also includes advisory and leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, New York University, Boston College, and service as a Nuclear Engineer and Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy, reflecting a unique blend of academic rigor, public policy expertise, and operational leadership.
