Delhi, India, June 2025 – Jagdish Chhabra has joined Makino as Director, marking a strategic move for the company as it continues to strengthen its leadership in the automotive component manufacturing sector. In this role, he brings a rich blend of operational excellence, supply chain transformation, and leadership expertise to support Makino’s growth across global and domestic markets.
Prior to this appointment, Jagdish Chhabra has been serving as Founder, Director & CEO at Jetex Consulting LLP for nearly seven years. In this role, he led numerous operational transformation projects for businesses across India, helping them reduce costs, implement lean tools, and drive digital transformation within supply chain and manufacturing. His hands-on consulting style focused on measurable improvements in quality, profitability, and system efficiencies.
Before Jetex, Jagdish had an impactful stint at Makino Automotive as Chief Executive Officer, where he led the company through a phase of business transformation and operational stabilization. His tenure also included a prior role as Business Transformation Head, positioning Makino for scale through best practices in manufacturing and system improvement.
Earlier, he worked as Head – Purchase and Supply Chain (Mindarika Business) at Mindarika Pvt. Ltd, overseeing strategic sourcing and supply chain for four plants. His contributions included SAP and Kanban implementation, supplier upgradation, cost savings through localization, and enhancing productivity through material flow and barcoding innovations. His leadership was recognized with multiple Tier 2 Upgradation Awards from MSIL and ACMA.
He also served as Vice President – Purchase and Supply Chain at Bharat Seats Ltd, managing six manufacturing plants. There, he led KPI alignment across teams, launched supplier portals, and introduced zero-based costing. His tenure as General Manager – Purchase & Supply Chain at Mindarika (over 16 years) included setting up robust supplier systems, implementing lean practices, and optimizing end-to-end inventory and logistics operations.
Earlier roles at Samsung Electronics, Bharti Telecom, and BPL Sanyo Utilities helped him build a strong foundation in international procurement, component sourcing, and vendor management, completing a career of over three decades of excellence in supply chain leadership.
