Jai Khurana Appointed as Joint President and Group Head of Central Logistics Assurance at Adani Group

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, October 2024 – Jai Khurana has been appointed as the Joint President and Group Head of Central Logistics Assurance at Adani Group, starting September 2024. This move marks an exciting new chapter in Jai’s journey with the Adani Group, where he has been a key leader since 2013. After a successful tenure as CHRO of Adani Ports & SEZ (APSEZ), Jai will now lead the logistics strategy for the entire group, focusing on value delivery across a broad spectrum of logistics activities, covering an annual spend of USD 2 billion.

In his new role, Jai will collaborate with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, overseeing the implementation of innovative solutions like AI-based predictive freight booking models and digital dashboards to drive operational efficiencies and ensure strategic alignment across the group’s logistics operations.

Jai Khurana‘s leadership career at the Adani Group has been marked by his contributions in both HR and business roles. Most recently, he served as Joint President & CHRO at APSEZ, leading HR and IR functions for ports, logistics, and international business. His initiatives in digital transformation, talent management, and diversity strategies created a robust HR framework that aligned with business goals.

Prior to this, Jai was Chief Executive Officer – Southern Ports at APSEZ, where he oversaw P&L for five Southern Indian ports. Under his leadership, these ports experienced substantial growth in cargo volumes and implemented key ESG initiatives, including the commissioning of solar panels on the breakwater at Katupalli port.

Jai also held roles as Senior Vice President & Head of Business Development at Adani Ports, where he played a significant role in expanding the group’s industrial estate and driving partnerships across sectors like LPG and LNG.
