Dallas/Fort Worth Area, Texas, United States, June 2024 – Meredith Baker has been appointed as the new VP, HR West Division at Rexel USA. With over 13 years of experience at Rexel USA, Meredith brings extensive expertise in human resources management and strategic planning to her new role.
Meredith Baker has been a cornerstone of Rexel USA‘s HR department. Before assuming her new position as VP, HR West Division in June 2024, Meredith served as the Human Resources Director from April 2011 to June 2024. In this capacity, she provided HR support for commercial employees, worked with business leaders and HR teams to create and implement strategic plans, coached and mentored Vice Presidents, and oversaw recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new leaders.
Before her tenure at Rexel USA, Meredith was an HR Consultant at Paychex from April 2009 to April 2011, offering HR support to over 50 small businesses and more than 1,000 employees across various industries. She also served as a Human Resources Director at Lowe’s from January 2005 to April 2009, where she managed HR activities for 17 multi-million dollar stores and over 4,250 employees.
Meredith’s early career includes roles such as Operations/HR Manager at Bed Bath & Beyond from August 2003 to January 2005 and Assistant Manager/Human Resources at The Home Depot from July 2000 to August 2003. These positions allowed her to develop HR policies, manage employee relations, and implement diversity and recruiting programs.
