Dayton, Ohio, United States, April 2024 – James Clisham has joined ACT Lab as the new Chief Financial Officer. Bringing extensive experience in finance and strategic leadership, James will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s financial operations and driving growth initiatives across its multi-state network.
James Clisham previously served at Dayton Parts Driven By Dorman for nearly five years, holding key roles including Senior Director, Divisional CFO from March 2023 to June 2024, and Director of Finance from September 2019 to March 2023. In these roles, he was instrumental in managing divisional finances and providing strategic financial oversight, ensuring the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.
Prior to his tenure at Dayton Parts, James was the Director of Finance and Administration at Flight Systems Automotive Group from June 2016 to August 2019, where he led financial planning, budgeting, and administrative functions. Earlier, he served as the Controller at Flight Systems Automotive Group from September 2014 to June 2016, honing his skills in financial reporting and internal controls.
James also gained valuable experience as the Cost Accounting Manager at OpSec Security, Inc. in 2014, where he managed cost accounting processes and provided critical financial insights. Before that, he worked at BDO USA, LLP as an Assurance Manager from July 2013 to December 2013, and at ParenteBeard LLC from 2008 to 2013, where he progressed from Staff Accountant to Manager, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of audit and assurance services.
