Charleston, South Carolina, United States, January 2026 – Jamie Shelton has been promoted to Director of Talent Management and Development at Ports America, where she will lead enterprise-wide leadership development, talent management strategy and capability-building programs supporting the organization’s nationwide port operations.
In her most recent role, Jamie Shelton served as Senior Manager – Learning and Development at Ports America, where she led leadership development architecture, enterprise learning strategy, and workforce capability frameworks aligned to Ports America’s expanding terminal operations.
Prior to joining Ports America, she spent over seven years with Novartis in Basel, Switzerland, where she progressed through leadership roles including Global Pharma Ethics, Risk and Compliance Operations Manager, Learning & Development Team Lead, and roles within Global Leadership Development, shaping enterprise compliance learning, leadership development ecosystems, and global training governance models.
Earlier in her career, Jamie held progressive leadership roles across global logistics and maritime majors including IKEA Group, APM Terminals, and A.P. Moller – Maersk, building deep expertise in global sourcing, operations leadership, and integrated supply chain management.
