In this role, Janice will lead Placer.ai’s people and culture strategy, driving talent management, organizational design, and employee engagement initiatives to support the company’s continued growth and innovation.
Janice Schwartz joins Placer.ai following her tenure as EVP of People at Carbyne, where she led global HR functions, collaborating closely with the CEO to build organizational infrastructure, shape company culture, and strengthen talent retention. Janice played a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives across a distributed workforce.
Prior to Carbyne, Janice served as Vice President of Human Resources for the Americas at SimilarWeb, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer. Her role encompassed talent acquisition, HR business partnering, and employee engagement, supporting key C-suite leaders while driving global HR initiatives, including compensation, employee development, and organizational design.
Janice also held senior HR leadership roles at Quantcast, where she served as Senior HR Business Partner for North America Commercial Sales & Marketing. She led performance management, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives, fostering a strong culture aligned with business goals. Additionally, her early career included HR leadership positions at PwC, Deloitte, and Rosetta Marketing, where she gained deep expertise in talent strategy, employee relations, and workforce planning.
With over two decades of experience, Janice has successfully driven HR transformation, talent strategy, and leadership development across industries including technology, financial services, and professional consulting.
