Morgan Stanley appoints Jason Simmonds as Chief of Staff to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Global Head of Employee Experience. With over 15 years of experience in driving strategic and transformational programs for Fortune 500 companies and international governments, Simmonds is poised to make significant contributions to Morgan Stanley’s organizational development and employee engagement strategies.
Simmonds’s extensive background includes pivotal roles in market entry, customer experience, change management, and guiding C-suite transitions. His expertise in cultural change, talent mobilization, technology deployment, and communication strategies is expected to drive organizational-wide alignment and enhance the employee experience at Morgan Stanley.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Simmonds held several significant positions, demonstrating his capability and leadership in strategic planning and engagement. His roles at Morgan Stanley before this new appointment include Global Head of Strategy & Engagement for Corporate Services & Global Centers, where he was instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the organization’s corporate services and global centers.
Before his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Simmonds served as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, where he managed and contributed to projects aimed at financial planning and operational efficiency. His earlier experience also includes roles at The Cohen Group, IFC – International Finance Corporation, U.S. Department of the Treasury, and Generali, showcasing his diverse skill set and global perspective on financial and strategic management.
Simmonds has Master’s Degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
