Sophie Bond Appointed as Senior Director, Global Talent Development at LKQ Corporation

Chicago, Illinois, United States, April 2025 – Sophie Bond has been appointed as Senior Director, Global Talent Development at LKQ Corporation, where she will be responsible for shaping and executing global strategies for talent and leadership development. In this key global role, she will focus on driving organizational capability, succession planning, and inclusive leadership across LKQ’s worldwide operations.

Prior to this global appointment, Sophie spent over four years with LKQ Europe, most recently serving as European HR Director, where she played a pivotal role in leading talent and leadership development, supporting the European leadership team, and embedding a unified, inclusive culture across the region. Her leadership included oversight of remote HR teams and transformational change programs spanning multiple geographies.

Earlier in her journey at LKQ Europe, she held roles as Head of HR Business Partnering and European HR Business Partner, based in the European head office in Zug, Switzerland. In these roles, she was instrumental in rolling out global HR initiatives, managing matrix teams, and enhancing employee experience across functional areas.

Sophie also spent over a decade at Euro Car Parts Ltd., holding progressive HR roles including Head of HR Business Partnering, where she led strategic HR efforts across the UK and Ireland, and earlier as Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Partner. She began her career as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at ManpowerGroup, supporting recruitment for middle to senior-level logistics roles across Europe.
