Jaya Suri has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kimbal Technologies, formerly known as Crystal, as of June 2023. With over two decades of extensive human resources experience across various sectors, Suri is well-prepared to lead Kimbal’s HR initiatives amid its ongoing expansion and transformation efforts.
Before her current role at Kimbal Technologies, Suri was a freelance Human Resources Lead for multiple Edtech companies, including notable projects like Edology, where she was pivotal in designing organizational structures and product mapping. Her tenure in the Edtech sector from February 2022 to May 2023 involved significant strategic overhauls at upGrad and an Indian plastic manufacturing company, where she developed performance systems and integrated newly acquired companies.
From October 2021 to February 2022, Suri served as the Leader HR India & Subcontinent for LIXIL APAC, where she utilized her skills in HR transformation and strategic planning to enhance employee relations and performance management across the region.
Previously, Suri was the Human Resources Director at GUS Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. from January 2016 to September 2021. In this role, she was instrumental in nurturing future leaders and enhancing GGS’s position as a collaborative platform for international academic institutes.
Earlier in her career, Suri gained significant experience at Kohler Co., XL Insurance, and Randstad, where she honed her expertise in organizational development, talent acquisition, and strategic human resources planning.
