Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Jayant Magar has been appointed as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Tata Advanced Systems Limited, where he will lead enterprise technology initiatives and drive the company’s digital transformation agenda. In this role, he will focus on strengthening IT strategy, enabling digital capabilities, and supporting the organization’s growth across aerospace and defence solutions.
Prior to this appointment, Jayant Magar served as Group CIO & Vice President – IT at Hindustan Platinum, where he led enterprise IT strategy and transformation initiatives for over six years. His leadership focused on driving digital capabilities, enhancing IT governance, and enabling business-aligned technology solutions.
Earlier, he held the role of CIO & VP – IT at AMW Motors Ltd, where he was responsible for overseeing IT functions and driving large-scale technology initiatives. His tenure reflects deep expertise in managing enterprise IT systems and aligning technology with business strategy.
In his previous experience, Jayant Magar worked with Mahindra & Mahindra as General Manager – IT / Head – Information Technology, leading IT operations and strategic initiatives. He also served as Head – IT at JCB Manufacturing Ltd., further strengthening his experience in managing IT functions within global manufacturing environments.
He spent over a decade with Endurance Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as Head Corporate IT, where he built a strong foundation in enterprise IT, digital systems, and organizational transformation, contributing significantly to the company’s technology landscape.
Jayant Magar holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and has also completed a program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore focused on transforming traditional CIO roles into digital strategists, reflecting his strong orientation toward digital transformation and innovation.
