Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Jayantt B Manmadkar has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd. (ABD), India’s largest domestic spirits company by volume. In this role, he will also serve as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) and Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company, leading ABD’s financial strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives.
A distinguished finance leader with over three decades of experience, Jayantt brings multidisciplinary expertise across financial services, pharmaceuticals, real estate, manufacturing, retail, and the alcobev industry. His appointment reinforces ABD’s strategic focus on strengthening financial leadership and operational excellence as it continues to expand its premium portfolio and global footprint.
Prior to joining ABD, Jayantt served as CFO at Brigade Group, Advent International API Platform Group Companies, and Sai Life Sciences Ltd., where he led key financial transformation programs, strategic investments, and digital finance initiatives. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing performance management, optimizing capital structure, and driving sustained business growth.
Earlier, Jayantt held senior finance roles at Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd., Wockhardt Ltd., Reliance Retail, Agro Tech Foods Limited (a Conagra Foods company), and Seagram’s India (part of the Pernod Ricard Group), where he played pivotal roles in financial planning, cost optimization, and corporate restructuring.
A Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Works Accountant (ICWA), and Company Secretary (CS), Jayantt also holds a Master’s in Commerce. His extensive background in corporate finance, governance, and strategic decision-making uniquely positions him to support ABD’s growth ambitions in India and international markets.
