Cleveland, Ohio, United States, May 2025 – Jeannie Sureck has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Lifebanc, Northeast Ohio’s only nonprofit organ and tissue recovery organization. In her new role, Jeannie will lead the organization’s overall people strategy, shaping a high-performance culture that reinforces Lifebanc’s mission of saving and healing lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Jeannie has been part of Lifebanc for over two years and most recently served as Senior Director of Human Resources. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in aligning HR practices with business outcomes. Her leadership has spanned workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, compensation strategy, and succession planning—ensuring a strong cultural foundation as well as operational excellence within the HR function.
Before joining Lifebanc, Jeannie served as Chief Human Resources and Operations Officer at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, where she managed HR, operations, facilities, compliance, and volunteer engagement. Her work at the museum was marked by significant contributions to organizational effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, and large-scale operations management.
Previously, Jeannie was Human Resource Manager at TECT Power, where she led HR compliance, collective bargaining, staffing, safety initiatives, workers’ compensation, and talent development across Cleveland operations. Her earlier experiences include HR leadership roles at Handl-it Inc., Complete Payroll Management, and Randstad, where she consistently drove HR transformation, recruitment, and performance management strategies.
With over two decades of HR and operational leadership across diverse sectors, Jeannie brings a comprehensive understanding of people-centric strategy, organizational change, and compassionate leadership.
