Chicago, Illinois, United States, January 2026 – Faegre Drinker has announced the appointment of Jennifer Fowler as Chief Talent Officer, based in Chicago, further strengthening the firm’s leadership focus on people, culture, and high-performance growth.
In her new role, she will lead the firm’s global talent strategy, overseeing HR, recruiting, professional and career development, compensation, benefits, and employee well-being initiatives to support both attorney and business operations teams. With nearly three decades of experience in the legal sector, including 20 years in senior HR leadership across international law firms, Jennifer brings deep expertise in building scalable people strategies and fostering strong, future-ready workplace cultures.
Jennifer Fowler joins Faegre Drinker after serving for nearly eight years as Chief Human Resources Officer at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where she played a pivotal role in shaping enterprise-wide HR strategy. During her tenure, she led initiatives spanning employee engagement, HR analytics, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, helping the firm navigate periods of transformation while strengthening culture and talent outcomes across a global workforce.
Prior to Seyfarth Shaw, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Vedder Price for more than two years, where she guided talent management frameworks, compensation strategy, and performance systems aligned to the firm’s growth agenda. Her leadership helped modernize HR operations and enhance the employee experience for legal and professional teams.
Jennifer spent nearly sixteen years at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP as Director of Human Resources, directing all HR activities for major offices including Philadelphia, Princeton, Wilmington, and Harrisburg with a combined workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. She oversaw employee relations, performance management, coaching, training and development, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and policy administration—establishing herself as a trusted architect of large-scale legal HR operations.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a Legal Assistant at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, gaining valuable insight into the legal profession that later informed her people-centric leadership approach within global law firms.
