Atlanta, GA, USA, September 2024 – Laura Yarbrough has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and VP, Group Benefits at PointeNorth Insurance Group, effective September 2024. In this role, Yarbrough will oversee the company’s HR operations and employee benefits strategies, aiming to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Prior to joining PointeNorth Insurance Group, Laura Yarbrough was the Vice President of Human Resources & Group Benefits | Partner at the same company for about 1 year and 3 months, where she managed HR and benefits functions and contributed to strategic HR initiatives.
Before this, she served as Human Resources & Benefits Division Manager at PointeNorth Insurance Group for nearly 8 years, where she led HR and benefits management, focusing on operational improvements and employee relations.
Laura’s earlier roles include serving as a Human Resource Specialist / Account Manager at DLI, Inc. for about 4 years, and as a Human Resource Specialist at Insperity for over 5 years. In these positions, she developed expertise in HR management and client services.
Her career began as a Human Resources Generalist at ERC Parts, Inc., where she worked for nearly 5 years, gaining foundational HR experience and skills in various HR functions.
