Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, September 2024 – Joydeep Chakrabarty has joined ALTEN as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its India group companies. In this role, Joydeep will lead the cultural integration, process enhancement, and strategic HR initiatives to support ALTEN India’s growth and success.
Prior to joining ALTEN, Joydeep Chakrabarty served as CHRO at Presto for approximately 2.5 years, where he was instrumental in defining organizational vision, core values, and long-term goals, along with setting up HR functions and strategies.
Before Presto, Joydeep was the CHRO at SmartSoC Solutions Pvt Ltd for about 5 months, where he focused on talent development, cultural transformation, and enhancing employee engagement and productivity.
Joydeep’s previous role was as VP & Global HR Head for Aero, Space, Defence & Digital business and India Region at Expleo Group for 3.5 years. He led significant HR transformations, talent ramp-up, and achieved notable improvements in employee engagement and cost efficiencies.
Earlier in his career, he held roles including VP HR – India, UK & Spain and Head HR (Global) – India, UK & Spain at Expleo Group, where he implemented global HR policies, automated various HR processes, and led substantial talent and organizational growth.
Joydeep began his career as Training Manager at Network Solutions (an IBM company), focusing on training and development, recruitment, and performance management.
