Reading, England, United Kingdom, July 2026 — RLC Aerospace Limited has appointed Debbie Adams as its Chief People Officer, bringing to the executive leadership team an accomplished HR leader with nearly three decades of experience in people strategy, talent development, organisational transformation, and culture change across the aerospace, aviation, retail, and consulting sectors.
In her new role, Debbie will lead RLC Aerospace’s global people agenda, overseeing talent strategy, leadership development, organisational capability, employee engagement, culture, and workforce transformation. She will play a key role in aligning the company’s people strategy with its continued growth and innovation within the aerospace industry.
Prior to joining RLC Aerospace, Debbie founded People First Collective, where she serves as Founder and Lead Consultant, advising organisations on people and culture transformation. She partners with executive leadership teams to strengthen organisational culture, improve leadership effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, and align people strategies with long-term business objectives. Her consulting work focuses on values-led leadership, organisational growth, coaching, culture change, and translating workforce insights into meaningful business outcomes.
Before launching her consultancy, Debbie spent almost a decade with GKN Aerospace, most recently serving as Vice President of HR, Talent & Engagement. In this executive role, she led the organisation’s global talent, leadership, engagement, and people development agenda, helping strengthen organisational capability and build leadership pipelines across the business. Earlier, as Head of Talent & Development, she was responsible for designing and delivering talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and organisational learning strategies that supported the company’s global growth.
Earlier in her career, Debbie established her own HR Consultancy, providing strategic HR advisory services, executive coaching, employee relations support, reward and retention guidance, and people policy development for a range of organisations. Prior to that, she spent more than seven years with World Duty Free Group, progressing through HR leadership roles including HR Manager – Terminals 3 & 4 and HR Manager – Terminal 4, where she led large multi-site HR operations, organisational restructuring, leadership coaching, succession planning, recruitment, and culture transformation initiatives. She also held HR leadership positions at LEGOLAND Windsor and began her career with Letheby & Christopher, building broad expertise across recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, workforce planning, and operational HR management.
Alongside her executive responsibilities, Debbie currently serves as a Board Trustee at Hope and Vision Communities, reflecting her continued commitment to purpose-led leadership and community impact.
Her appointment reinforces RLC Aerospace’s commitment to investing in leadership, organisational capability, and a high-performance culture as the company continues delivering advanced technology solutions to the global aerospace industry.
