Gurgaon, Haryana, India, October 2025 — Gourav Murty has joined Beurer India Private Limited as Head Sales – Online & Offline Business, bringing with him over 23 years of leadership experience in sales, D2C eCommerce, and business transformation across some of India’s most renowned consumer and technology brands. In his new role, he will spearhead Beurer India’s integrated sales strategy, driving market expansion, enhancing channel partnerships, and accelerating digital transformation to further strengthen the company’s footprint in the health and wellness technology segment.

A dynamic business leader known for his strategic foresight and people-first approach, Gourav has consistently delivered strong business outcomes through innovative sales planning, AI-driven analytics, and digital-first engagement models.

During his eight-year tenure at Panasonic India, Gourav played a pivotal role in launching and scaling the brand’s D2C eCommerce business, leading the strategy, P&L management, and digital transformation initiatives that strengthened Panasonic’s customer engagement and online growth. He also served as AGM – Business Excellence and State Head – Mobility Division, driving cross-functional collaboration and sales performance across key markets.

Previously, Gourav held leadership positions at LG Electronics and Sony Mobile Communications, where he successfully led regional and national sales operations, contributing to the expansion of their mobility and consumer electronics businesses in India. Earlier in his career, he worked with leading organizations including Whirlpool Corporation, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Reliance Communications, and Tata Communications, where he built a strong foundation in channel management, retail strategy, and customer engagement.

At Beurer India, Gourav will lead the online and offline sales functions, aligning digital and traditional retail strategies to deliver seamless customer experiences and sustainable business growth. His appointment underscores Beurer’s continued focus on combining innovation, technology, and customer-centricity to strengthen its position as a trusted brand in the health and wellness industry.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
