Toronto, Ontario, Canada, March 2025 – OANDA has announced the appointment of Nichol K. as its new Head of People Partnership. With an extensive background in human resources, talent strategy, and organizational development, Nichol will lead employee engagement initiatives, HR partnerships, and workforce strategies to support the company’s continued growth.
Before stepping into this new role, Nichol K. served as Senior People Partner at OANDA for nearly two years, where she played a key role in driving HR transformation, talent retention, and leadership development. Prior to that, she was a Human Resources Business Partner at OANDA for nearly four years, focusing on people strategy and HR process optimization.
Before joining OANDA, Nichol held multiple HR leadership positions at Northbridge Financial Corporation, where she spent almost eight years as a Human Resources Business Partner, HR Coordinator, and Total Rewards Specialist. In these roles, she focused on employee experience, compensation strategies, and workforce planning.
Earlier in her career, Nichol worked at Markel Insurance Company of Canada (now part of Northbridge Financial Corporation) for nearly seven years, taking on roles such as HR Coordinator and HR Assistant, where she honed her expertise in HR operations, employee relations, and talent management. She also gained experience at McMillan LLP and Diabetes Canada, working in HR administration and people operations.
