Before Proton, Amran served as General Manager – Human Capital at Alam Flora Sdn Bhd, where he led strategic human capital initiatives designed to enhance organisational performance, strengthen workforce capability, and build sustainable people practices aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives.

Earlier, he was Vice President – Group Human Resource at Pos Malaysia Berhad, where he formulated enterprise talent management strategies and led the development and implementation of human capital initiatives that supported the organisation’s strategic transformation and business priorities.

Earlier in his career, Amran held senior human capital and organisational development leadership positions with Pharmaniaga Berhad, Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), Alam Flora Sdn Bhd, Securicor (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, and Penang Seagate (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, building extensive experience across talent management, organisational development, succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, employee relations, learning and development, and culture transformation across the manufacturing, healthcare, technology, municipal services, and security sectors.

His appointment comes at a pivotal stage in Malaysia Aviation Group’s transformation journey as the organisation continues investing in leadership capability, employee experience, and organisational excellence to strengthen its position as one of Asia’s leading aviation groups.
