Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, April 2026 — Jennifer Kusch has stepped into a new role as Head of HR at Descon Engineering. Her appointment marks an important leadership move as the company continues to strengthen its people strategy across its engineering and industrial operations. With a career spanning HR leadership, talent acquisition, change management, corporate training, and workforce planning, she brings broad international experience to this new mandate.
Before joining Descon, Jennifer Kusch served as Head of Talent Acquisition at ENGIE Middle East, where she led talent and HR initiatives across the AMEA region. In that role, she directed HR operations including workforce planning, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and policy development, while also overseeing strategic staffing for major infrastructure and energy projects. She also advised executives on UAE labour laws, visas, and regulatory frameworks, led risk management and performance optimization initiatives, and implemented HR systems and cross-regional training programs.
Prior to that, she worked at ENGIE Impact as Senior Human Resources & Change Management Manager, where she led geographically dispersed recruiting teams across North and South America and drove global HRIS implementation and change management initiatives. She created workforce planning and talent management programs, designed HR policies across diverse geographies, reported key HR metrics to C-level executives, and was recognized with a promotion to Head of Talent Acquisition along with relocation to Dubai.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer Kusch held senior HR roles at Melaleuca: The Wellness Company, including Senior Human Resources Manager & Corporate Trainer and Senior Human Resources Business Partner & Corporate Trainer. Across these assignments, she directed HR operations, performance management, succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention strategies across a global consumer packaged goods business operating in 19 countries. She also partnered with leadership on organizational design, policy development, communication, and recognition programs.
Before that, she served as Adjunct Faculty Member & Human Resources Coordinator at BYU-Idaho, where she combined HR coordination responsibilities with academic teaching in business management. She also worked as Student Employment Manager & Financial Aid Counselor at Brigham Young University – Idaho, and earlier as Operations & Hiring Manager at Brighton Apartments. These early roles helped build her foundation in hiring, training, compliance, onboarding, employee support, and operational management.
Her move to Descon Engineering reflects a career built on progressive HR leadership across energy, engineering, consumer goods, education, and operations environments. With expertise in talent strategy, change management, workforce capability development, and people operations, Jennifer Kusch is well positioned to support Descon’s continued growth and organizational priorities.
