Jerzy Szapiro Duque has been with Majid Al Futtaim for nearly three years, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer, MAF Entertainment and Vice President – Group FP&A and ERP Implementation. In this dual role, he led financial planning, analysis, and systems transformation across multiple business units, contributing to operational efficiency and enhanced financial control.

Prior to his tenure at Majid Al Futtaim, Jerzy spent approximately 22 years at IBM, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Nordics CFO, Finance Director for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, and CFO for Global Technology Services in the same region. His expertise in financial governance, corporate risk management, and strategic financial planning made him a key contributor to IBM’s success across multiple international markets.

Jerzy’s early career at IBM included roles such as CFO for the Software Group in Latin America and Controller for the Middle East and Africa, where he developed a strong foundation in financial operations, audit management, and budget planning.
