Elkhart, Indiana, United States, January 2025 – Jessie Agostino has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Welch Packaging, where he will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee areas including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), capital allocation, risk management, and acquisition integration. He will work closely with Scott Welch and the executive team to drive profitable growth for the company.
Prior to joining Welch Packaging, Jessie Agostino served for over 32 years at Schurz Communications, Inc., most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s credit relations, financial structure, and compliance, while working closely with the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives.
Before being promoted to CFO, he held the position of VP – Controller for nearly 2 years, overseeing financial accounting, internal controls, and cash management. He also managed business acquisitions, valuation processes, and financial analysis for the executive team.
He previously served as Corporate Controller at Schurz Communications for over 10 years, focusing on external reporting, cash management, and compliance. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Internal Auditor with the company and started his career as a Staff Auditor/Tax Specialist at Crowe Chizek, developing his expertise in accounting policies and tax compliance.
