Jitendra Singh Appointed as Zonal Head – Mumbai at RBL Bank

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — RBL Bank has announced the appointment of Jitendra Singh as Zonal Head – Mumbai, bringing over two decades of rich experience across banking and financial services. In this strategic leadership role, Jitendra will drive all business and P&L operations for the Mumbai Zone, ensure robust regulatory compliance, and spearhead initiatives to achieve top-line revenue and growth targets. Before joining RBL Bank, Jitendra was associated with Kotak Mahindra Bank for nearly six years, where he held several senior leadership roles including City Head – Mumbai, Regional Business Head – Branch Banking (Bangalore), and Senior Vice President – Mumbai Metropolitan Region. During his tenure, he successfully led large-scale business operations, drove multi-city branch performance, and implemented branch-level efficiency models that contributed significantly to regional profitability. His leadership was marked by a strong focus on customer engagement, business growth, and high-performing team culture.

Prior to his recent stint at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Jitendra also served as Mumbai-Goa Head of Branch Banking at Bandhan Bank, where he led strategic initiatives for branch expansion and retail banking excellence. He was instrumental in strengthening customer relationships, improving branch productivity, and ensuring consistent delivery on key financial metrics across multiple markets.

Earlier in his career, Jitendra worked with YES BANK as Branch Manager – Nariman Point, where he enhanced client portfolio management and operational governance. Before that, he spent over four years at ICICI Bank as Branch Manager – Airoli, driving sales, retail operations, and branch profitability. His work in these roles reflected his deep understanding of frontline banking operations and customer-centric growth strategies.

Jitendra began his professional journey with Indian Railways, where he served as a Commercial Inspector for a decade. His early career in the public sector helped him cultivate a strong sense of discipline, regulatory adherence, and service excellence—qualities that have defined his leadership approach in private banking.

Strategic Role at RBL Bank

At RBL Bank, Jitendra will oversee Mumbai’s zonal operations, aligning business growth with regulatory governance and operational efficiency. He will play a key role in driving innovation in branch banking models, expanding customer outreach, and mentoring next-generation banking leaders. His extensive background across India’s top financial institutions will help RBL Bank sustain its trajectory of high performance and deepen its presence in the country’s financial capital.
